When moving to Pennsylvania and starting my job at the school district, one of the most commonly shocking things people would discover after chatting with me is that at the age of 24, I had already been married for 4 years. In the northeast, it was more common to find people at my age not married and not even in a serious relationship yet! Most people got married in their late 20's or early 30'𝐬.
In Utah, where we moved from, it was common in the culture to get married in your early 20's (or sometimes late teens!). I had a number of friends that got married at the age of 18 or 19 to either their high school sweethearts or to someone they met their first year in college. When you know, you know 😉
Whether you get married younger or older, what's most important is that you marry someone that loves you and has your same goals and values. We celebrated 8 years of marriage a few weeks ago and I couldn't be happier ❤Whether you are married or in a committed relationship, how long did it take before you knew they were the one for you? I knew after 3 months 🙈 COMMENT BELOW! 👇
