I’ve been fat free for one year. Fat Free means No Added Fat, including nuts, seeds, avocado, beans, etc. As Medical Medium says, there is plenty of fat in the fruits and veggies we eat. The reason I went fat free is so I could eat potatoes. Since January 2015, I had tried so many times to be fully raw and always was drawn back to potatoes. The constant switching back and forth did not make my body feel good. ▫️
What have I noticed since being fat free? Health wise, it has been one of the best years of my life. My bloating has been gone the entire time and overall, my energy has been steadily high. My weight has fluctuated less. I In June of 2019, I weighed 157 pounds and by February 2020, I was down to 148 pounds. At the moment, I am back up to 153 pounds, but it is not because of how I eat. It is due to stress and my body pumping out more adrenaline than it’s used to.
The flares I have experienced since being fat free: extremely dry fingers in August 2019, eczema on my hands in January 2020(when I went raw and fat free for 6 days), and now an itchy rash on my back. All have been tolerable and not nearly as severe as the brain fog, plantar fasciitis, and numbness/tingling I have experienced at various points on my healing journey.
At the moment, I’m feeling bored with how I’m eating, but once the delicious harvest of summer grown fruits and veggies arrives, my senses will be awakened. I do plan to continue my fat free journey, but I must admit that I have been thinking of avocado lately. I’ll surely let you know if I add some in, but for now... fat free it is.
For those of you wondering what I eat... A diet filled with an abundance of fruits, veggies, and raw honey with occasional dried fruit and maple syrup. I mix it up every day with smoothies, juices, dressings, soups, and salads with different dressings and sauces. ▫️
Since healing with Medical Medium information for nearly 4.5 years, my thoughts are...
Slow and steady wins the race. In the past, I’ve pushed myself too hard and suffered greatly with flares. Sure, bringing in cooked food has slowed my detox, but the overall effect has been amazing. I feel happier and that’s what keeps me going💜
