The company, the venue and the food MY GAWD. 🥰So thankful I got certified in portion control and carb cycling because ☠️☠️ decisions would have been made that I would not be happy with today. 😆 Being informed on food and feelings is uber important when we want to make positive changes or maintain the changes we’ve worked so hard for!
Yesterday was my carb day and I’m so grateful that I don’t have the mindset that carbs are BAD. They’re just not the greatest at certain TIMES of the day depending on our individual goals and what we want to achieve.
EveryBODY is different when it comes to carbs and depending on your goals ... carbs can either help or they can stall progress. Get informed about carbs, when to have them and how they influence you personally because they influence a LOT more than just our tastebuds.
Certain anxiety and depression is linked to overeating and sugary carbs because they cause our insulin to increase or crash. I don’t believe in getting rid of carbs all together because it’s just not a lifestyle.
I do believe it’s important to see how you feel off of carbs for an extended amount of time though simply so you can understand exactly how YOUR BODY reacts to no carbs. Even more importantly- how your body reacts when you introduce them back into your diet.
